• Shooting & Stick Handling Lanes

GET OFF YOUR DRIVEWAY & INTO YOUR SKATES

Extra Hour Off-Ice Training facility has 5 skateable synthetic ice shooting and stick handling lanes that were specifically designed to mirror on-ice conditions by allowing the player to wear their hockey skates and use their game stick.  This feature provides the player the ability to skate, shoot, and stick handle with the same stick flex, angle, and player height that occurs in game situations.  Additionally, we have a specialized background in protective coatings that allowed us to create a proprietary blend product to apply to our surfaces that produces the closest feel to real ice.

Stick handling is the basis for all puck control and puck handling: passing, receiving a pass, shooting, fakes, dekes, puck protection, face-off’s, and more.  Our easy to skate synthetic ice shooting lanes provide the ability to fine tune your give-and-go’s, improve one-timers, determine shot selection, engage in battle drills, and much more! Continue to develop quick hands & passing techniques, shooting accuracy & power, and improve overall skills.
